Set on the outskirts of Castiglione della Pescaia, once the Villa and the Farm owned to the Medici use to welcome the Grand Duke Leopold II and his court during the summer season; now, after a restyling and rationalization of space, it became a lovely resort. L’Andana takes its name from the long driveway consists of a continuous line of cypress and pine trees in a natural park. In the estate the scents of Tuscany blend with the brackish fragrances of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Consists of two main buildings, the Villa and the Fattoria, joined by a charming Winter garden of iron and glass, expressed through the furniture the true essence of Tuscany, made of warm colors, simplicity and uniqueness. The chosen colors, from bright beige to ocher yellow and orange lit, and to the intense purple, are well suited to the Tuscan style furniture, all enhanced by the precious Florentine silk tissues. A refined environment, where nothing is left to chance, and that, simultaneously, makes guests feel an atmosphere of true and proper “home”.


The spacious and bright rooms are like an appendix of the landscape, comfortable corner where the Maremma enters almost without knocking. A velvety comfort expresses genuine love for this corner of Tuscany.
The 20 rooms, Superior (35 sqm) and Deluxe (40-45 sqm), are furnished in every detail with taste and refinement, while maintaining an intimate atmosphere. All rooms offer picturesque views of the Maremma countryside and the atmosphere of each one is warmer made by a beautiful stone fireplace. In all rooms are available LCD TV, safe, WIFI, newspapers and magazines, CD and DVD players. The 13 suites, located in the body of the Villa and in the Farm, are veritable mansions and differ from one another with their decoration and atmosphere. Within some Prestige Suite it is also an indoor spa.

Alternatively, Casa Badiola Golf House with dedicated swimming pool and kids club is dedicated to families who need space and at the same time intimacy, to nature lovers, to those who are independent, to golf fans. It is equipped with 14 rooms and suites each with a view of the green and the nearby hills, dotted with olive trees ordered, and more than dressed in oaks, arbutus and mastic trees from which springs the unmistakable balsamic aroma of the Mediterranean. All equipped with a small kitchen, each boasting a pleasant outdoor area: some of them have, in fact, the intimacy of a perfumed garden, others the pleasure of a delightful private terrace.


L’Andana welcomes, on the inside, the restaurant La Villa. The atmosphere is warm and informal of a real home kitchen, which leads to an intimate and friendly dining room with a lovely stone fireplace and, hence, to the delightful veranda overlooking the park. The Villa offers tasty lunches and dinners, according to a menu that changes with the seasons. The proposals, prepared by the Brigade of La Trattoria Enrico Bartolini, are based to a cuisine that reflects the genuine traditions of the territory, in which the delicate flavors and savory of the sea are juxtaposed with those decided on earth.
La Trattoria Enrico Bartolini meant to be contemporary tavern: in the heart of the countryside, the genuineness of the local products is enhanced and interpreted in the strict respect of traditional Tuscan cuisine, with the addition of the culinary philosophy “Contemporary Classic” of the chef Enrico Bartolini. Its cuisine is innovative, balanced and challenging, it combines the values ​​of the past and the present of the present. To accompany the menu, the wine cellars of Tenuta La Badiola and Petra, both owned by the Moretti family and a selection of the best Italian labels and beyond.
Breakfast at L’Andana is an experience that none can forget between the table and cast iron ovens in a kitchen that has the authentic taste of home, every morning parade hot donuts, brioche with orange blossom, sandwiches with ‘ raisins, cheesecake, and even Tuscan cinta ham, tasty mozzarella and seasonal vegetables. Do not miss the yoghurt and homemade jams houses, as well as eggs, freshly made, in a thousand different ways.

The Tyrrhenian Sea is just a few kilometers from the estate and offers the perfect setting for fun boating, exploring coves and bays, and visiting the tuscan islands, real natural paradises.


The Moretti family, owners of the Andana, it is great producer of wines, in Franciacorta, with its famous bubbles, in Suvereto with the famous author’s cellar Petra and even here, where now are the 500 hectares that make up the estate, inside which expresses the variety and biodiversity of the Maremma landscape, with plains, slopes and hills covered by vineyards, olive groves, woods and Mediterranean bush.
The visit of the cellar with a tasting of all the wines produced is absolutely not to miss.
