Your tour begins in Lucca where you attend the Puccini World Festival, a strictly private event dedicated only to You as Patron , in fact no single ticket sale will be carried out!

The event will be filmed by Sky International with a BBC/ITV production team (led by Latimer Production Ltd London), further demonstration of the great quality of the event and the artistic proposal.

During the Festival you will attend beautiful Opera (La Tosca), 3 concerts, gala dinner and tastings.

During your 6 nights stay in charming hotels in Lucca you will discover the lands of Giacomo Puccini starting from his villa in Torre del Lago where he lived and composed his masterpieces.

Then you will visit Lucca, Pisa with its leaning tower, Florence and its famous Uffizi and Accademia Galleries, Marble quarries in Carrara and Pietrasanta which is known as “the little Athens of Italy”

And don’t forget the delicious Tuscan cuisine because this is another masterpiece of this Region.

Day 1: Pisa Airport - Lucca

Transfer from Pisa Airport to Lucca. Check in and accommodation at the Hotel in Lucca. Transfer to Teatro del Giglio for the Puccini World Festival OpeningChampagne reception & official presentation of the festival + Opening Gala Concert Lucca Philharmonic Orchestra – Conductor ANDREA COLOMBINI – in program: ouvertures, arias and duets from Operas by G.PUCCINI, G.VERDI., OFFENBACH, W.A. MOZART, ROSSINI. Before the performance: Champagne reception. At the end of the event, transfer to the Hotel. Overnight

Day 2: Lucca - Torre del Lago - Lucca

After breakfast, departure, with private transfer, to Torre del Lago Puccini. At the arrival, visit of Villa Puccini which is located just in front of the Lake of Massaciuccoli. In this villa the great Maestro lived and wrote all his operas. At the end of the visit, we embark on a boat for characteristic excursion on the Lake so much loved by Giacomo Puccini. At the end, transfer to Lucca. Light lunch. In the afternoon free time for relaxation. At about 6:00pm private transfer to Teatro del Giglio for the beginning of the marvelous second night of Puccini World Festival. Opening night of LA TOSCA– the magic opera in three acts by Giacomo Puccini – Conductor: ANDREA COLOMBINI. The performance will be followed by the GALA DINNER which will be held in a charming hall of a historic building of Lucca. At the end of the dinner, transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 3: Lucca

After breakfast, private transfer to Lucca. 11:30 am, Teatro del Giglio – SPECIAL SUNDAY MUSICAL matinee: W.A. MOZART – REQUIEM KV 626 – Choir of the University of Pisa – Lucca Philarmonic Orchestra
7:00pm Festival Choir – Lucca Philharmonic OrchestraConductor ANDREA COLOMBINI

Day 4: Lucca - Florence - Lucca

After breakfast, meeting with our representative and departure to Florence with private transfer. Guided Walking Tour in the historical city center of Florence (UNESCO site) to discover the Renaissance masterpieces of the town. Light Lunch in a typical restaurant.  In the afternoon visit of the highlights of Galleria degli Uffizi and Galleria dell’Accademia (skip the line tickets). At the end of the visits, transfer back to Lucca. Tasting dinner with wine & food pairing in a charming restaurant located in a historic building in the center of Lucca. Overnight

Day 5: Lucca - Carrara – Pietrasanta - Lucca

After breakfast, meeting with our representative and departure to Carrara with private transfer. In Carrara we will meet an expert local guide that will accompany to the visit of the Marble quarries in 4×4 vehicle. Light Lunch. Transfer to Pietrasanta. Guided walking tour of the charming town known as “Little Athens” and visit of marble and bronze workshop. Transfer back to Lucca. Tasting dinner with wine & food pairing in a fine and elegant restaurant in the heart of Lucca. Overnight.

Day 6: Lucca – Pisa - Lucca

After breakfast, meeting with our representative and departure to Pisa with private transfer. Guided visit of Piazza dei Miracoli (UNESCO site). Light Lunch. In the afternoon walking visit of the center. Transfer back to Lucca. Tasting Dinner at the Museum with wine & food pairing: this is more than a simple dinner, it’s a real experience! In fact L’imbuto, 1 star Michelin, is located inside the Lucca Center of Contemporary Art, housed in 16th century Palazzo Boccella: a matrioska of austere Tuscan history, pyrotechnic contemporary art and amazing creative cuisine. Overnight.

Day 7: Lucca - Pisa Airport

After breakfast transfer to Pisa Airport in time to take the flight. End of the services
